Mercedes-Benz SL R230 / R230FL Widebody Kit PD-Series

The PD-Series Widebody Kit transforms the Mercedes SL R230 / R230FL with a more aggressive widebody appearance while emphasizing the vehicle’s sporty and luxurious styling. Manufactured from high-quality Dura-Flex fiberglass composite and hand-finished for improved fitment and surface quality.

Fitment: Compatible with Mercedes SL R230 / R230FL models, including SL 280 R230FL, SL 300 R230FL, SL 350 R230/R230FL, SL 500 R230/R230FL, SL 55 AMG R230, SL 600 R230/R230FL, SL 63 AMG R230/R230FL, SL 65 AMG R230 and SL 65 AMG Black Series R230FL.

Material: Dura-Flex fiberglass composite with a durable yet flexible structure, hand-finished surface and improved second-generation fitment quality.

Compatibility Notes: This is the second-generation PD-Series widebody kit with revised hood design, enhanced fitment and simplified installation. Most OEM internal front bumper components can be reused. Grille inserts and fog lights are not included but may be transferred from AMG63-equipped vehicles or ordered separately.

For vehicles equipped with PDC (Park Distance Control), recesses for parking sensors must be prepared. Existing headlight washer systems can be adapted to the new bumper. The front fenders replace the original parts completely, while the rear overfenders are mounted onto the factory body panels.

The rear bumper is supplied with an integrated diffuser and quad exhaust cutouts. Vehicles with aftermarket or factory quad exhaust systems should verify exhaust tip spacing and compatibility before installation. Compatible stainless steel exhaust systems are available separately upon request.

Installation: Professional installation strongly recommended. Depending on vehicle configuration, installation may require extensive preparation, trimming and custom fitting. Test fitting before paint preparation is highly recommended.

Material Preparation: Our products are manufactured from high-quality Dura-Flex fiberglass composite. This material offers a stable yet flexible structure with a smooth hand-finished surface suitable for professional bodywork preparation and paint application. Some preparation, filler and primer may be required before final paintwork.
